My First Pattern-A Raised Impression

This is my first pattern, and it is for a lace headband.

A Raised Impression

Yarn suggested:

Lion brand: Nature's Choice Organic Cotton
103 yards (94 meters)
Aran/Worsted weight

Needle Size:
Size 9 Straights(doulbe pointed would work too, but are not necessary)

Gauge:
Gauge is not particularly important in this pattern

Pattern:

For seamless construction:
Cast on 10 stitches provisionally.
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: K1, Yo, K2, K2tog, S1, K1, Psso, K2, Yo, K1
Row 3: Purl

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until you reach your desired length, mine was about 15"
When you reach your desired length, pull the waste yarn out of your cast on stitches, and graft the two ends together for a seamless headband.

If you feel like seaming:
Cast on 10 stitches
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: K1, Yo, K2, K2tog, S1, K1, Psso, K2, Yo, K1
Row 3: Purl

Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you reach your desired length, mine was about 15"
Bind off and seam.

Seems there is a mistake in the pattern.... if I follow as written it gives something totally different.
